HP Probook 455 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Probook 455 G5 reporting SMART failure on second drive (it has M.2 as drive 1, a 2TB SATA drive as drive 2) - don't need the second drive so we simply removed it, but POST continuously claims impending failure on Drive 2. We have tried to find where in the BIOS to tell it to ignore a second drive but it is not apparent anywhere, it's honestly a pretty terrible BIOS layout. How can we tell the BIOS there is no Drive 2? The system will boot to Windows normally once we tell it to continue, but that is an aggravation the user does not want. Every day, to have the boot cycle stall out... because it is warning of failure for a drive that isn't there anymore.

A cursory glance on the internet has yielded nothing, so hopefully someone can tell us what we need to do to remove that unneeded and removed SATA drive from the computer, permanently...
