I am having this problem. archived topic on this forum. My issue is the solution to fix it is outdated, should I follow the same steps laid out here? I installed the AMD catalyst driver after setting it up. Suppose I should uninstall both.

Machine only has one of the following options

 

 
Internal:
  • 14.1 in diagonal WXGA anti-glare (1280 x 800 resolution)
  • 14.1 in diagonal WXGA BrightView (1280 x 800 resolution)
  • 14.1 in diagonal WXGA+ anti-glare (1440 x 900 resolution)

 

No 1600 x 900.
