Probook 430 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear Community and all,

I recently (less than a month) bought an HP Probook 430 G5 through Amazon Uk from a known big retailer.

I bought also a windows 10 pro License (the notebook had Freedos initially)

Everything worked fine and I'm really happy with my purchase, except ...

as I bought it new ( I can provide relevant invoice), I did not expect HP Support Assistant to state that I have only 6 months (or less) left of warranty. I was also interested in extending the warranty as well, but first thing's first.

How can I dispute what HP thinks/registers as a 6 month laptop ?!? Also, why aren't I able to extend in any magnitude the warranty?!?

Thank you for your time

The above steps: I have already tried but it does not give me an option to click "dispute" or anything like that (I've entered place of Purchase UK and the serial number) ...

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
