HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15 - Temp reading, Fans and Heat

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have just received my new HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15 - with AMD Vega, 16GB Ram and 1TB HD.

I noticed Fan noise is too loud if using on my lap - aware that vents are on the bottom but even still - plenty of gaps here and there - also - even when just surfing the next - fans ramp up, temps hit 94c+ and graphical erros/laptop freezes etc.

If I put it onto a hard surface it works better - but again - even if not doing anything cpu temps are up at 70-80c and fans ramp up.

When I do something intense or run a benchmark - temps go up past 93c and cpu starts to throttle etc - again fans are like a plane taking off.

Surley this cant be normal?

I have updated to newest bios/drivers etc

Should I be sending this back/getting it replaced?

Thanks
