HP Thunderbolt Dock 230W G2 problems

HP Thunderbolt Dock 230W G2 2SU55AV#ABB
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a used HP Thunderbolt Dock 230W G2 docking station. The ProdID is: 2SU55AV#ABB
It's coming with a fixed cable with a combined (thunderbolt + power) connector on the end.
I'm using it for a brand new HP ZBook 15 G6. I've 2 LCDs attached to the dock on it's Displayport connectors.

My problem is that the fan in the dock keeps spining even if the notebook is powered off. I have to disconnect the cable from the notebook to have the fan stopped completelly. It has the same problem with my older ZBook 15 G5.

1. Why it's working like that?

I've already updated the dock's firmware, but did not help.
I could not found proper driver / firmware for the dock as the HP support search could not find it based the printed ProdID.

2. Where can I find proper driver / firmware for it?
The closest one I found and used for update was:  from

TITLE: HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 - Firmware
RELEASED: Jan 17, 2020

3. Why I can't find the product based on the ProdID or serial anywhere at HP site?
Here are some pics about the product itself:

4. Is it compatible with ZBook G6 officially?

I appreciate any help about it!
