USB-C-Dockingstation G5 (5TW10AA)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need a video signal for 2 displays from a Notebook without USB-C. It has only USB 3 ports (A-type). Is it possible to use my USB-C-Dockingstation G5 (5TW10AA) with an adapter (USB-C-to-A) to get a video signal?

NO... However, the HP USB-c Universal G2 dock supports the usb-a/barrel connector splitter adapter... it is higher performance and requires a single driver (DisplayLink)

I work for HP. However, all opinions and comments are my own.

Thanks. The G2 is not an option, because I already have the G5. But now I know. Thank you.
