Elitebook 820
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an Elitebook 820 work laptop and I bought an HP x4500 wireless mouse to use on it about a year ago. In the last few months I've noticed that when I click and drag something, it seems as if the link between the mouse and the laptop drops, causing me to lose what I've selected or drag something only part of the way it needs to go. Also, I often need to click something several times before it will select. I'm not sure if it's the mouse or the laptop, although I will say that I did have a Logitech mouse before this which started to do the same thing. I got rid of that and got the HP mouse instead in the hope that having a same-brand product would resolve any issue... Can anyone help?
