HP ZBook 14 G2 - will not start up

Product: HP ZBook 14 G2 Mobile Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was getting a battery error (sorry do not have exact error... may have been for CMOS battery).

 

With battery and power adapter plugged in the machine would do this after the power button was pressed.

1.  No screen activity.

2.  WiFi light came on with amber color.

3.  Speaker light came on with white color.

4.  Power light stayed illuminated for 5-10 seconds in white color.  Then it went off never to return.

5.  Nothing else happens.

 

Now today it will not start.  Here is where I am at the moment.

1.  Pulled out the normal battery.

2.  Plug in KNOWN GOOD power adapter.  (I have several HP laptops.)

3.  When I plug in the adapter the power light flashes white briefly.

4.  Press the power button.

5.  No screen activity

6.  Power light does not come on.

7.  Wifi light comes on with amber color

8.  Speaker light comes on with white color.

9.  No other activity.
