HP ZBook 17 G6. Windows 10 Pro 22H2 July 23 cumulative update causes frequent touchpad freeze. (Alps Alpine)
Since installing the latest Windows update, the touchpad stops responding for 5-10 sec every minute or so.
Uninstalling the Cumulative Update, leaving in place the security and .NET update of the same date, resolves the issue.
I have notified Microsoft Support. The Customer Support case ID is [Personal Information Removed].
Their response was that the update is incompatible with the machine, and that it would be resolved in the next monthly update.
Not sure if that is a specific response to the issue or a stock answer to every question.
Anyone else had the same problem?
