HP ZBook 17 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

since a while i have a problem with my G6 ZBook, its connected with a 230W G2 Dock and at it was working for weeks perfect without any issue, but since a while when i startup my Notebook (with pressing the button on the Dock) the Displays stays black (there are 2 connected) also when i open the Notebook this Display stays aswell black.

I downloaded the HP Support Assistant and did all updates including Firmware for the Dock.

The Notebook works without the Dock perfect. The only workaround which i found was ..

I disconnect the Dock cable and Start the Notebook, after windows is fully booted, i connect the dock and the displays shows up. Then i restart the PC and everything works fine.. (including the LAN, Displays and so on).

This is a workaround, but no solution. 😞

Would be happy if somebody would has an idea what could cause this problem.

Hello,

Tried today to give HP a call, but it was a mess to be honest. I was not able to complete a call due to skype Phone or on the landline.

Always when i have to choose something i get the message that my selection was invalid. Tried it in Lux and in Germany..

Is there no support email available?
