Product: HP ZBook Studio G4 Mobile Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have been using a HP Thunderbolt Dock 230 G2 with my HP Zbook G4 Mobile Workstation successfully for several months.  Recently, when i booted the laptop using the dock it sometimes doesn't boot the dock as evidenced by none of the connected devices, USB peripherals and external monitors, are turned on in the boot process.  The laptop boots normally as though it weren't connected to the dock.  This happens maybe 1 in 3 times now when it used to start as expected every time.  to correct the problem, I power cycle the dock and it boots as expected. Any thoughts on what might be going on?
