Hello everybody,
For my study at a university in Holland we can order HP Zbooks with a standard configuration with a high discount.
The configuration we can order has the bigger 6 cells 95.6Wh battery. Some people at a forum are suggesting that the bigger battery fills up the space for an additional 2.5" hard drive, which means that two M.2 slots are left over for internal storage.
Can somebody confirm that the bigger battery requires the space of the additional 2.5" hard drive?
Thanks!
Max

They are right.
See pages 35-36 of the Manual here. If you wanted to add a 2.5 inch disk you would need to buy a 4-cell battery and the hard drive caddy and cable which would be pretty expensive. Perhaps better to just get a larger secondary M.2 disk for storage.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the answer you needed.

Hello,
I have a question for the same laptop because I am going to the same school as him next year.
All the laptops are delivered with a QWERTY keyboard, and there is no possibility to buy it from the school with an AZERTY keyboard (bulk purchase from school with all the same laptops).
I would like to replace the keyboard from QWERTY to AZERTY immidiatly when I receive the laptop. But, some people on the forum suggested that the whole top cover needs to be replaced then. Can you confirm this is true?
I looked at the service manual, and indeed there the keyboard is shown as being one part with the top cover.
But, is that not really expenive to replace the whole top cover?
Kind regards,
Daan
