Product: HP 242 G1 Base Model Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. My laptop Hp242 G1 screen won't display anything but the capslock light blinks twice which is obviously a BIOS problem.
I have replaced my CMOs battery and still won't work. I also tried to download a BIOS update from hp.support but my OS( windows 10) is not available for selection. The only available OS are Windows 7 and 8.
I downloaded BIOs update for windows 8, but it throws errors when unpacking the bootable files. Kindly assist.
