Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Given its serial number, is there a way one can search the IMEI of a stolen notebook which has cellular conectivity, a HP Elite Book 840 G6  model?

Hello @jshinzato 

 

Your notebook:

- has <Universally Unique Identifier> UUID

- has product number (p/n) <- not unique

- has serial number (s/n)

- has imei in case of mobile interface ( optional )

 

(1) Contact HP Support, get your information. You must have proof of purchase -> invoice

(2) Contact < Police > and give information, they will do the work for you.

(3) You're done
