I'm trying to upgrade my notebook to Windows 11 however my TPM is 1.2 how do I upgrade it to 2.0?

Hi:

 

Not on an 850 G1.  Needs to be a G2 or newer.

 

Not to mention the processor does not meet the requirements anyway.  Processors have to be Intel 8th gen core or newer.

 

If you want to upgrade to W11 on your notebook, you will have to use one of the several W11 hardware check bypass methods to upgrade.

 

I found this method the easiest way to do that.

Before you try to upgrade to W11, I recommend that you make a system image of your current W10 installation prior to updating to W11, so you can easily reinstall W10 in the future.  I used the free Macrium Reflect software to do that, under the Backup at Home section. 

 

Along with the system image, make sure you create the bootable DVD or USB rescue drive you boot from to access the system image stored on your portable hard drive.
