Hp EliteBook G6 HDD unlock by fingerprint

Hi,

is it possibile in Elitebook G6 models to setup in BIOS power-on password and HDD password (Drivelock) and unlock power-on nad HDD by fingerprint? (On Lenovo Thinkpads its working (after 3x bad fingerprints scans you must enter password manualy).

PS. On old thinkpads, in addition to unlocking with a fingerprint reader, you could even start the computer...

Hello

using HP Client Security Manager you can set configure your finger print and enable it for preboot environment.

it means that you must press the power button , then PC will require you to use your finger print to continue and boot Windows 10.

DriveLock in another function of the HP BIOS, so you can enable it in Security Menu.

With Client Security Manager you can also set a dual factor autenthications to login in Windows. I tryed finger print + password, but you cna chose also other factors , example BT device, Smart Card , contactless card.

USe HP Client Secuirty Manager.

thank you for your answer. Indeed, fingerprint unlock works with the password for the bios and the system, but when you set DriveLock password in the BIOS the password to unlock the disk must be entered manually (before fingerprint)

Is it possible to  set disk encryption in HP Client Secuirty Manager, after installing HP Client Secuirty Manager I do not have the option of disk encryption like in this video:

Is the only disk encryption option on Elitebook G6 is DriveLock or Microsoft Bitlocker? Is there any way to unlock DriveLock encrypted disk with fingerprint?

HP drive encryption is not provided anymore and it's not included in HP Client Security Manager since 2 or 3 years.
