Hp Spectre 360 not switching ON

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My Laptop just stopped working. It was on charge and it seemed as if some smoke came out from the USB C charging point. I can get a slight burnt smell from that area

The laptop is still in warranty

I have read that many people have had the issue that the charger sits quite loose at the USB C point.

I intend to take it to HP tmrw, what can I expect, I spent 2200$ on it just 6 months back, surely they need to replace or repair the laptop.

Need some inputs
