Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I went to https://register.hp.com/ I tried to enter the serial or product support however it would not detect the product or proceed with registration

Your machine is 9 years old by now, it was built around September 2013. It was out of warranty many years ago, system may not see machine which was built before 2016.

 

Hope this makes sense.
