Hi all I am using second hand hp elitebook folio 9480m laptop. My sys configuration is i5 processor, 320 hdd and 12 gb ram. I wand to replace 320 hdd to 500 sata ssd. But in support manual they mentioned sata ssd max 256gb. So my only concerned is if I upgrade to 500gb ssd, will it support? Kindly tell if anyone upgrade 500 gb ssd without problem.

Hi:

You should be fine upgrading to a 500 GB 2.5" SSD.

The drive capacities listed in the service manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

You can see that the Crucial memory/SSD report indicates you can install drives in excess of 1 TB in that model.
