NOTEBOOK - 15g-br011tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

During lockdown my laptop was showing error as Fan is not operating correctly. I lodged a case with HP regarding the same & they arranged an engineer. Mean while the error which I was facing disappeared but it thought it was for temporarily solved. So I entertained an engineer to allow him to open my laptop & after he opened the laptop the found that there were problem in hinges and the particles of the broken hinges were not allowing the fan to operate correctly. He claimed that the hinges were broken due to fall of laptop and it cannot be replaced as it is not covered under the warranty. and now my laptop is in such a position that i cant close the flap of the laptop as he told that hinges are damaged and if you try to close it u may face some other issues.I am receiving several communications from HP team through mail regarding this damage is considered due to misuse of the product and therefore it cannot be replaced under warranty. And after I read the complaints of other on this portal it seems that everyone is facing the same issue of hinges and HP is giving same answer to its customer for not replacing or avoiding to replace the same even if it is under the warranty period. Dont know hat is covered by HP under warranty. For no reasons the extended warranty period is granted. Now i am helpless and cant move my laptop from one place to another. It is clear from the experience that do not allow even the HP Person to open the laptop. If he gives guarantee to restore the laptop in previous position then only they should be entertained
