Hello,
After updating BIOS to version 01.09 on my HP ZBook Power 15.6 inch G10, I noticed a critical issue with the battery reporting in Windows 11.
In battery reports generated by `powercfg /batteryreport`, the "Full Charge Capacity" is incorrectly shown as 758,895 mWh instead of the actual design capacity of around 66,000–83,000 mWh. This causes Windows to misinterpret the battery health and shows incorrect diagnostics or battery warnings.
The issue disappears immediately when I change the BIOS setting **Battery Health Manager** from **"Maximize my battery health"** to **"Let HP manage battery health"**. However, I prefer to use the "Maximize" setting long-term to preserve battery lifespan.
In BIOS and in HP diagnostics, the battery appears normal and healthy, so this appears to be a firmware issue related to how ACPI tables report data to the OS in combination with the "Maximize" mode.
Please investigate this issue and consider fixing it in a future BIOS update.
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
Thank you for posting here in the Community.
For the time being please use the default option Let HP manage...
HP engineers are aware of what you report above and a fix is on its way. You may use HP Image Assistant or Support Assistant for a BIOS update.
