Incorrect warranty dates and can't dispute it

250 G7 Notebook

I bought my new laptop in February 2020 from laptopoutlet, however the warranty says it started on 10 September 2019 and will expire on 9 October 2020. I would like to dispute this, however I am unable to find a 'dispute this' link on the warranty checker page. Can anyone help with this issue?

Hi

The usual answer is....

You have a dated receipt.

 

Connecting to HP and registering the device and doing updates will likely correct the problem.

 

The "Born On" date is also relevant.

Since your notebook is considered a business-class notebook, the online warranty dispute process doesn't work (don't ask my why).

 

Call the number at the link below for 'Computing products for business,' and speak with a customer services rep to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted.
