Hi HP Leader,
On 24th May 2018, I bought a HP laptop at Best Buy at Mountain View, California. The Model number is - HP-Envy x360 - 15m-bp112dx. I live in India and bought this laptop during my visit to the US.
Late 2019, that is a few months after the warranty, the USB ports stopped working, followed by Camera and finally the motherboard of the laptop stopped working. Right through 2020, amidst Covid, we tried getting a spare. HP India was not responsive, as that model is not sold in India and also the sale did not happen in India. In the US Website the spares of the model are discontinued. After doing enough research we shortlisted a US Supplier of Spare parts and ordered for a mother board. We got it shipped to a friend in the US, who carried it to India. On our initiative, we tried fixing it, but unfortunately the mother board was faulty and we have sent it back. I now give up on getting this laptop up and running.
How can a USD 900 worth of a laptop, just after ONE year and a few months stop working and we have to dump it because you have chosen to discontinue the model. I dont think you would want a customer to suffer this pain. I am now stuck with USD 900 investment and non functioning laptop
I would request you to solve this problem for me by either organizing for the part or take back this laptop at a discounted rate and exchange it for a new laptop
I am appealing to your values of Customer Satisfaction and seeking closure
