Product: HP 1040 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP added a memory verification check in BIOS version 1.31, this way third party RAM modules cannot be used anymore regardless if they were working fine.

 

Hence we want to downgrade to BIOS version 1.30, we tried various solutions (e.g. Win+B). Unfortunately, each time we try to install BIOS 1.30 it shows a file verification error.

 

Is there a way to force-flash version 1.30? The current version is 1.36.
