The hard drive on my laptop HP Elitebook 840 g3 started having problems.
After some research I decided to buy the V-NAND SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2
However now I started googling and seeing in some forums that the SSD I bought might not be compatible with the laptop I have. Although none of the commentaries seemed to be about these specific models.
Can anyone clarify this for me before I go and try open the laptop and change the hard drive.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Pedro

Hi, Pedro:
Chapter 1 of the service manual seems to indicate that both SATA and NVMe SSD's are supported in your notebook, so the Samsung 970 should work.
