HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 (2J4V9AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I am looking for a docking station with a power on/off button which would support the HP Laptop 15-e2000.

I want to organize my desk stuff -> need to be able to turn the device on/off without opening the laptop lid.

(laptop itself hidden in a hardly accessible place). What docks satisfy this request (any suggestions)?

Please clarify. Thanks.

p.s. I noticed that this laptop model CANNOT be powered / charged via USB-C (I will connect the power supply

to the laptop directly). Will DOCK then turn the system on and off without any problems?

What is your Laptop PC 15-e2000 (2J4V9AV)  machine ? It should be on the following list

                   https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-15.6-inch-laptop-pc-15-e2000/2100372089/model/2100376551/pro...

For example:  HP Laptop 15-ef2048nr  or  HP Laptop 15s-eq2003np.

No, no docks on market today allow you to turn on your machine when closing its lid.

Hello

1) It's Laptop HP 15s-eq2011nw

2) Hahaha, right ... therefore HP should be the first on market with this functionality 🙂

Of course you are right ... I wasn't thorough. The idea is to be able to put the laptop "to sleep" and wake it up.

Does such a dock exist for the above model?

1. Now you know

2. You can use universal dock such as a DisplayLink Certified dock

                  True Universal Docking Stations

You can wake your machine up using mouse or keyboard BUT you still can not power your machine up without opening the lid and press power button
