HP Elitebook 1050 G1 (3ZH22EA#ABH)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Is there a docking station via USB-C or USB3 that can power my notebook (150W) and be used for datatransfer for USB devices , ethernet and two monitors?

I already have tried the 'HP USB-C Dock G4 docking station' everything works fine, but the USB-C port can't deliver the 150W.

Thereby it would be great if this solution is also compatible with a ProBook 470 G4.

Thanks

Hi,

Reading around a bit, it seems the modt reliable for your notebook seems to be the Thunderbolt Dock G2 with Combo Cable

The service manual also mentions the

HP ZBook Dock with Thunderbolt3

Hope it helps.

Hi, Thank you for your reply.

I will give the 'HP ZBook Dock with Thunderbolt3'  a try.
Although I think its strange that the USB-C Dock G4 doesn't work properly while the 1050 G1 is in the compatibility list.

What is in your opinion the best dockingstation with the same requirements for a ProBook 470 G4?

Hi which dock did you choose in the end?
