Issue with Fingerprint Enrollment

HP Recommended
HP ProBook 650 G1
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I am having trouble with enrolling my fingerprints in the HP Client Security Manager Software.

I have tried all of my fingers.

I have updated the bios, run windows update, installed the latest drivers for the fingerprint reader etc...

When I start the enrollment wizard, everything seems to work correctly, I swipe my finger twice, and it recognises the swipes, but then it doesnt recognise any additional swipes.

The software doesnt freeze, or give any error messages, it plays the video demonstration of how to swipe my finger, but I can not proceede further.  If I try to cancel or to close the software then it freezes up.

I have cleared the TPM, I have cleared the Fingerprint data, all in the BIOS.  I have reset the bios to factory default, I have tripple checked to make sure the fingerprint reader is enabled in the BIOS.

I have reinstalled the OS half a dozen times at this point, re-downloaded all of the drivers and software from the HP site to make sure it wasnt a driver issue.

The worst part is, it worked perfectly before I reinstalled windows.

Please advise.

I have been having this same issue.  I have managed to fix it before but I can't ever remember what fixed it when I reinstall windows.  Could someone post a fix for this issue?  Google is of no help, and I have had to suffer through fixing this issue many many times, so I know this doesn't only happen to me.  I don't understand why there isn't a post about this already?
