Issues with external monitor through HP TunderBolt 120W Dock

HP Recommended
HP EliteBook 850 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have just bought an ASUS VG27WQ 165Hz 2560 x 1440 px, monitor, that is running fine with a HDMI cable directly connected to my laptop at 2560 x 1440px @ 60Hz. It can even run fine with no problems at 1920 x 1080p @ 120Hz.

When I'm using a new HP ThunderBolt 120W dock, that is connected to my laptop with USB-C and the external monitor is connected through DisplayPort, I'm only able to use it at 1920 x 1080p @ 30Hz...

When I try to change the resolution, the picture appears, but turns black after a few seconds. And the monitor just keeps turning on and off like that. And it does'nt matter wich resolution or refresh rate (Hz)

Funny thing is, at work I am using the same laptop connected to the same kind of docking, with a Philips 49" @ 5120x1440p, 60Hz. No problem at all.

I've updated all my drivers through HPs Support Assistant.  (BIOS, ThunderBolt, VideoCard etc.)

Does anyone else have the same issue?
