When every I use a key on the laptop keyboard it types the letter followed by willia.  Does not matter what key I use I get willia.  This does not occur when I use a separate usb keyboard.  Is the laptop keyboard bad?  Does it need to be replaced?

What is a "wilia"?

Word?

Mystery symbol on a non-English keyboard?

No when you strike any key it gives you the letters "willia" plus the key that you want to type.

OK, no idea.

I would have guessed that the keyboard is set to other than your local region.

As a long shot, it is possible your system (computer) is infected with virus or malware.  Yes, I expect this is the first thing you checked.

Sorry, this is just not something I can explain.
