Bought a Wireless Elite v2 Keyboard, which comes with a Link-5 dongle.
The keyboard is listed as compatible with Win XP, 7, Vista, 8. But when the link-5 dongle is connected to my EliteBook 8470w windows reports that it could not be installed, no drivers available. It appears in device manager under "Other Devices" with a warning icon.
The product help says that no driver is needed. The laptop is fully patched and running Win 7 Pro and clearly needs a driver. I've confirmed that every Keyboard and HID item in Device Manager has current drivers, but still the dongle does not install.

Finally reinstalled all of the Intel USB Drivers and keyboard was recognized.
