Hi ,

 

I have hinges issue with one laptop and i dont see any physical damage.Please let us know if this covers under warranty if not why?

Hello,

 

Generally speaking, in most cases hinge problems are caused by "customer induced actions" / physical pressure taken or mistaken by the end user of a given devices. The HP Standard Limited Warranty does not cover damage that is not the direct result of a manufacturing defect or failure.

Your PC needs to be checked by HP Customer support representative or HP Authorized service partner for them to determine if the fault is a result of customer actions [most common] or bad quality [extremely rare]. Quality if top priority for HP and quality checks are performed before, during and after manufacturing process for any unit.
