Laptop battery issue

The battery life on this laptop has gone down from 8:08:09 to 02:57:51 according to the batter health report however it drops last usually around 30 minutes when the laptop is not on charge,

Battery runtime depends on the battery health and the load on the computer - heavy usage requires more power. Batteries degrade over time regardless of their use, but high ambient temperature and e.g. keeping the battery at 100% charge shortens the life.

To get an accurate picture of your battery health, download and install the HP Power Manager from your laptop model's download page.

If the battery is failing, it can be replaced. If you still have warranty, contact HP or a HP Service Partner to have it replaced gratis.
