Hi 

We have a brand new HP ProBook 450 which connects to a HP USB C docking station. It won't work with the dock until it has had the power button held down for 10 seconds. When it then starts up it detects the dock and works as normal. If the user takes the laptop out of the dock and works from home, then comes back into the office to use the dock, they have to hold the power button again before the dock will work.

We have tried a different identical model USB dock and power cables to the dock so have eliminated that as the issue.

Also tried unplugging everything from the dock including USB and monitors.

Anyone have this issue or suggest a permanent fix without having to go through resetting the power ?
