Elitebook g2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. My daughter's elitebook was working fine, but now will not power up. Symptoms: Charge light was on steady orange, now steady white, when plugged in with battery in, but no power light or keyboard lights at all when power button pressed.

When plugged in to charger without battery no steady charge light, but orange and white flash for a few times simultaneously then stop.

If charging lead is  plugged in half way power and cap locks blink white and orange and white buttons on front blink.

Tried hard reset a few times and bios boot, but no sign of power. Swapped batteries with other daughter's g2 and battery works okay in other machine. Good battery from other machine makes no difference in the one with the problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
