Hi i am using an Elitebook x360 1030 G3 which had its battery replaced three months ago ish but it appears that i a have a persistent issue to report which is when fully charged sometimes i see the battery report as 99% available (plugged in) but randomly after sometime i see the charging led glow amber & the 99% available (plugged in) keeps reducing until it drains itself he only way to remedy this issue seems to be unplugging the charging cable then plugging in then disconnect after 5 ish seconds then the laptop thinks its running on battery until then the laptop thinks its plugged in & charging but obviously the charging percentage keeps reducing. Sometimes like today morning i went to university with my laptop in hibernate then proceeded to turn on the laptop then noticed my laptop getting hot & then looked at the notification area & saw laptop thinks its plugged in when it actually is not.I have been facing this issue for a very long time even before replacing the batery. HP Power Manager is set to maximize battery health and i also tried uninstalling the microsoft acpi battery driver as well nothing helps unfornately.Too bad cuz its a great laptop in all honesty but this battery issue is what soils the experience for me.

There is a HP Battery Manager here that you should try if it says turn off all battery settings do so .
HP Business Notebook PCs - HP Battery Health Manager | HP® Customer Support
if that doesnt work out
run from elevated cmd or powershell sfc /scannow to fix file corruption replace missing drivers that can mess with your components.
go to device manager - battery - drivers and uninstall driver and reboot let windows update find a driver for your PC
if its under warranty have them fix it ASAP ifixit has instructions how to replace battery i see its inside the chassis makes it a little more complicated but doable. Gl
