Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This may well have been asked before.  I am concerned as my newish laptop has a built in battery, which I am not overly familiar with.  From my understanding with phones, when plugged in overnight the battery cycles between 100% and 99%, back and forth, wearing it down slowly.  My concern is that this also occurs with a laptop battery?  I rarely have a need to have it not plugged in.

 

How can I ensure the best lifespan of the battery here?
