Elitebook 840 G5.
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can anyone please confirm which touchscreen pens are support on the Elitebook 840 G5? This model is not mentioned in any HP pen compatibility list?

Hi,

we are HP reseller and also sold one unit with touchscreen, customer asked for a pen. Accidentally had the chance next day to speak with local HP product manager who confirmed that 840/850 G5 touchscrrens definitely do not support pen functionality.

He said the make of the screens would not support the function. He also demonstrated that the form factor of a classical notebook does not support using a pen: Either you would need to flip the display at a 180 angle, or have it at a 100-130 degree angle which would make using a pen to write or paint unsuitable.
