MY NEWLY BOUGHT LAPTOP WAS REGISTERED ALMOST TWO YEARS AND RESELLER CLAIMED THIS IS NEW!

I have just gotten a laptop from a HP Official Road Show in Lowyat Plaza, Kuala Lumpur. The packaging was opened when I got it and they claimed the unit is new. When I got home I found out that the unit is obviously an opened box unit, with some minor damage on the edge of laptop and the charger is covered with dust and sign of usage.

When I check the warranty online using the serial number, it was stated that the laptop is registered on 15th July 2022, and I got it yesterday on 26th August 2024!

There are only 17 days warranty left from the warranty and this is not accepted AT ALL!
