Motherboard replacement

Who can assist me in tell me how I could get a i3 or i5 motherboard to put in my hp 240 g8 laptop to give me some more speed cause it’s very slow on logging always

Any G8 would be relatively new and quite fast.  I doubt the problem is hardware.

Try booting from a USB key with a Linux distribution on it.  That won't impact your current configuration but can test the hardware.

If you don't know how to do that, ask an experienced friend (or Google how to do this).

Note, you cannot just change the motherboard to improve the speed.  The cost would be more than a new laptop.

I am 99% it is a Windows configuration problem and a boot into Linux will prove my theory
