I wasn't using the computer, it was just resting.  I noticed the fan running at a high speed.  Then when I picked it up it was very hot - seemed to be in the battery area.  I had to hold down the power button for 10 seconds to shut it down. Restarted OK and does not seem to be hot now.  Is this a worry?

Hello @mike22doyle

If it was a one time event, I would say no need to worry.
