HP Elitebook 850 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After Windows 10 install, the keyboard will work for 12 hours and then stop.  I have updated to latest BIOS and tried other keyboard driver re-install steps.  The laptop keyboard appears to Windows 10 but the keys will only register if you hold the keys for 3-5 seconds each.

I am using a USB keyboard day to day but it means my laptop is not very portable!

It has to be a driver issue.  But I can't find a way to get an old keyboard driver, and then stop Windows update from replacing it automatically with the later one which does not work.
