My power supply does not work anymore

HP Recommended
Elitebook 820 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Suddenly the power supply does not charge nor power up my notebook.

Trying the PS of my colleague (same model of notebook) everything's fine. So my diagnosys is that my PS has to be repaired/substituted..

Hello @FabNicklaus,

If you've confirmed that your colleague's AC adapter is properly powering your laptop, I can recommend you the original AC adapter (and if you want, the power cord).

However, a specific model/product number would be appreciated. (Please do not post serial numbers on the HP Support Forum)

Information on how to find a laptop's model/product number is detailed in this HP document.

You should be able to find info on your laptop on the bottom cover.

BTW, if you are in warranty, contact HP:

Contact HP Worldwide here.

Phone HP Worldwide here.

Check warranty status here.

Find an HP Authorized Service Center near you here.

Kind regards,

Eddy
