New Laptop Hardware Problem -- Fn keys freezing from the booting of the motherboard's built in bios. ex. F9 randomly freezes during initial boot of the mother board's bios. HP ENVY x360 ee100

I tried to get help via Tech Support. But as they required a separate phone to call me on other than this Envy x360 device which I bought to replace my last phone; I was directed to ask here Thanks. They wanted the ability to talk to me while being able to reboot many times. Well as I bought this to replace my older phone that was not an option. So here I am writing here. Please be detailed in your answers as there is very little information for the public on this issue. I know this from hours that stack up as high as mountains of research. So please share as much as possible. Please be very detailed so that the public has an answer somewhere online

Not believed to be a Microsoft Windows Software issue as the bios come with the motherboards before Microsoft even enters the picture. If it was a software issue I would have contacted the software company Microsoft. But as this is the built in system tied to the hardware and not Microsoft I am contacting HP here as HP is the hardware company.

SafeBoot has been turned off to ensure that the F9 Select Boot option is not blocked but still problematic.

I have not experienced this problem in many many years and zillions of computers ago and with a very old system.

Oddly, the last update may have triggered something, but that makes absolutely no sense as the boot is supposed to be independant of Windows.

Please explain. Are there better Bios settings to work with to fix this problem? Please give me a detailed log list of the steps I must take to fix this as I've been locked out of this system countless times aleady and have had to reinstall it at least 20 times already to fix it. But this F9 key from time to time will freeze. Please assist with good documentation as there is little I can find from hours of searching the web.

function keys - Call HP -- After pressing F9 -- the Message "Choose Boot Device" freezes

This is not normal functionality for the F9 key to freeze. Normally the system at boot will give you various options to boot manually along with the option to access the bios -- which a great alternative to F10 if it ever fails by the way.

F9 Boot Option freezes

DISABLED SECURE BOOT  IS A MUST as it's not compatible with many USB Live programs and tools. Ex. Security Software, and System Testing to make sure the system is not compromised by potential threats before Windows even starts.

Disable Secure Boot

Thank you in advance.
