ProBook 430 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As the new owner of a ProBook 430 G3, I've gone through the process of updating all drivers and applying all Windows 10 updates. In general, the computer is working just fine, but I've noticed laggy and jerky scrolling using the keyboard in Edge and Chrome. Does anyone know what I can do to speed things up? It's not horrible, but I am used much faster responsiveness on other computers I use.

Thank you for the response. The PC has an i5-6200U processor with a Crucial SSD, so that shouldn't be the issue. The RAM might be, but after posting the question I decided to try a mouse and - surprise, surprise - performance is much better using the mouse scroll function than the up/down keys on the keyboard. Still very weird, but the lag seems to have largely disappeared.

Hello

Probook 430 G3 has some years.

for me with current Windows 10 version, 8GB of RAM start not be enought. Web browers consume a lot of memory. so keep as less as web pages opened or increse memory.

Even more you don't specify the CPU of your notebook. is it Core i3 or better ?

does the unit as an SSD or an HDD ?

so there are several reasons which can influence the computer performane.

bye
