HP EliteBook x360 830 G5 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Last night the machine was fine.  Worked as advertised.

I turned it on this morning and the external display, through a HP Thunderbolt dock did not work.

I checked the right and left side ports individually with known functional devices;

the left side USB 3.0 port worked fine;

neither of the right side USB-C ports work on known functional external devices;

the right side USB 3.0 device did not work;

the right side HDMI does not work.

This seems to be solved, I ran all the HP service tools I could find, did not really find anything; did a complete Norton scan; the ting did a blue screen collecting data; and when the scan was done; it started up okay.

It does not seem to want to use the hard wire connection and defaults to wireless but i will review this.

Additional information:

The thunderbolt **bleep** will recharge the PC through the USB-C port.

Also, the thunderbolt dock will turn the PC into a sleep mode.
