HP EliteBook 850 g6 Base Model Notebook PC .

Product number - 4YD60AV
Serial number - [edit]

I got it today only, upgraded the windows and installed few software in it, and restarted it. But after restarting it did not work and showing only one page and asking password for it. However, I have not put any password before upgrading the OS and software.

Hereby attaching the screenshot for your reference.

BIOS passwords are never set by HP during manufacturing, and it looks like you accidentally added one or it was added for you, perhaps from your business? the only time i have seen this from HP is with a customer requested service... If this laptop came from the company you work for, perhaps you can reach out to the IT department

I work for HP. However, all opinions and comments are my own.

Thanks for your prompt response.
IT guy is installing himself and he said he hasn’t added any passwords yet. He just created a user with “master” but no password added. I upgraded Windows, installed a few software in it, and restarted it. But after restart, it started showing like this.

Please let me know the issue and how it can be rectified.
