HP 250 G6 Notebook-PC, Product number: 4LS69ES#ABD
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Task Manager indicates a shared memory of 4 GB while total RAM has 8 GB. Most of the time the GPU does not use the shared memory while the RAM is constantly occupied to almost 100%. More than half of it is occupied by StandBy apps. Could it help RAM for other apps if it would not have to share the memory with the GPU by limiting it to its dedicated 1 GB, or is this not a good idea?

If yes, how could that be set to not share the memory with the GPU anymore thus limiting it to its dedicated 1 GB? In BIOS I did not find any possible settings.
