A user can have a keyboard and mouse plugged into the docking station and everything is working. But if they go and plug a usb headset into the docking station, to take a Team calls. All the USB devices stop working, the laptop no longer recognizes the keyboard or mouse and no sound comes out of the headset.
The only way to get the devices to be detected is to remove the headset and restart the laptop.

Could be something to do with USB power. My USB-C G5 dock has same problem therefore have to use wireless keyboard and mouse combo now, they use their batteries. Sorry, I don't bother to find out why, just try an alternative.
Note: I use my 840 G5 on USB-C G5 dock nearly 100% of their lives.
Regards.
