ProBook 450 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

Bit of an odd one this. We have 17 ProBook 450 G3 laptops all purchased in April 2016 and so far 5 have had failed keyboards in the last few months. Oddly this seems to have coincided with a prolonged period of going unused due to COVID.

If it  were one or two I'd write it off as accidental damage or carelessness but to have nearly 30% of the keyboards fail strikes me as odd. To clarify, the issues appears to be that random keys stop functioning entirely.

Laptops are all out of warranty now so not much can be done there but before we suck it up and get replacements I was wondering if there are any known issues with the keyboard? Any recalls that might have been missed? Is this model particularly prone to keyboard failure?

Thanks in advance
